India Lost 2nd T20, Rinku Singh inning gone in vain

India Lost the second T20 match played against South Africa In St. Park Stadium, Port Elizabeth. Rinku Singh played another good knock and he scored 68 runs in 39 balls. his batting partnership stand  with T20 Captain Surya Kumar Yadav helped India to reach the score at 180 , he was unbeaten.

South African captain Aiden Markram won the toss and decided to bowl. When play was stopped due to rain, India had scored 180 runs for seven wickets in 19.3 overs. After that Team India could not play further. Based on Duckworth-Lewis rule, South Africa got the target of 152 runs in 15 overs. They won the match by scoring 154 runs in 13.5 overs. With this he achieved an unassailable 1-0 lead in the series. The third and final match will be played in Johannesburg on 14 December.

Top order has not been impressive today , India lost early wicket within few overs as Yashaswi and Shubman Gill did not contribute much to score and gone within 2 overs . after early 2 blow Surya Kumar Yadav and Tilak Verma took in charge but Tilak Verma was out in his  individual  score of 29 runs on the 5th ball of the 6th over of Girald Kotje. He made a partnership of 49 runs with Surya Kumar Yadav.Rinku Singh is unbeaten after scoring 68 runs on 39 balls. Captain Suryakumar Yadav has played an inning of 56 runs for India. Tilak Verma has scored 29 runs and Ravindra Jadeja has scored 19 runs. Yashasvi Jaiswal, Shubman Gill and Arshdeep Singh could not open their accounts. Jitesh Sharma was able to score one run. Gerald Coetzee has taken three wickets for South Africa. Marco Jansen, Lizaad Williams, Tabraiz Shamsi and Aiden Markaran got one success each. Captain Suryakumar Yadav played the captaincy innings. He was out after scoring 56 runs on 36 balls. Tabrez Shamsi dismissed him on the fifth ball of the 14th over. Marco Yansen took his catch. India has scored 125 runs for four wickets in 14 overs.

The match resumed after the rain stopped but the rain continued for a long time, so as per ICC rules, South Africa was given a target of 152 runs in 15 overs. At the time of play being stopped, India had scored 180 runs for seven wickets in 19.3 overs. And keeping in mind the ICC rules, 5 overs were reduced and South Africa was given a target of 152 runs in runs.

South Africa’s explosive batting

The batsmen of the African team hardly made the target easy. He continuously attacked the Indian bowlers and did not allow the run rate to go down. Reeza Hendricks scored the highest score of 49 runs on 27 balls. Captain Aiden Markram played an inning of 30 runs in 17 balls. David Miller scored 17, Matthew Britzke scored 16, Tristan Stubbs scored 14 not out and Andile Phehlukwayo scored 10 not out. Heinrich Klaasen scored seven runs. Mukesh Kumar took two wickets for India. Mohammad Siraj and Kuldeep Yadav got one success each.
