Playing for one’s country and playing cricket for India while you are chasing your dream to play cricket for your country is surreal when Sarfaraz Khan gets his test debut today against England in the 3rd test in Rajkot India.

India had a bad start
After the toss India came to bat first but top 3 players did not perform as per expectation . Shubman Gill was out for duck afterfacing 9 balls, Rajat Patidar 5 and Yashasvi Jaiswal 10 also did not prolonged the inning.though Skipper Rohit Sharma played a vital knock with long awaited century and did good partnership stand with Jadeja. both Player completed respective century , After falling Rohit Sharma wicket at his personal score of 131 Sarfaraz came to bat he partnered with Jadeja .
Sarfaraz scored his half century , he was batting really well but fell to run out on Jadeja call to take a single , Sarfaraz scored 62 runs , on stumps India scored 326 runs with 5 wicket in hand , Jadeja is still batting on crease .
Performance of Sarfaraz and Jurel
Sarfaraz Khan and Dhruv Jurel are the 311th player and 312th player respectively to represent India in Tests. Both have the responsibility to prove themselves by performing well in this test. Sarfaraz’s performance in domestic cricket has been excellent. In the last few years, he has scored a lot of runs with his bat in whole Ranji season . He has 3912 runs to his name in 45 first-class matches. During this period his average has been 69.85. His highest score during this period is 301 runs unbeaten. Sarfaraz has scored 14 centuries and 11 half-centuries in first class.
At the same time, Dhruv has scored 790 runs in 15 first-class matches at an average of 46.47. These include one century and five half-centuries. With the arrival of these two, India’s middle order is looking completely young. Shubhman Gill, Rajat Patidar, Sarfaraz and Dhruv are batting in the middle order.
